SSL Certificates for Domains Parked with Efty

Efty provides free SSL certificates for all domains that use our nameservers. This ensures that visitors to your domain land on a secure HTTPS connection, helping to build trust and confidence when they consider purchasing or making an offer on your domain name.

How it works

When you add new domains to your Efty account, our system automatically checks whether they are already pointing to our nameservers:

ns1.eftydns.com

ns2.eftydns.com

If a domain isn’t yet using these nameservers, it will remain in the queue and we’ll check again later. Once the domain points to our nameservers, Efty automatically issues an SSL certificate for it.

This process usually completes within a few hours, but can take up to 48 hours for DNS changes to fully propagate. During this time, your domain may temporarily load without SSL (http instead of https) until the certificate becomes active.

What you need to do

To make sure your for-sale landing pages resolve correctly and display with SSL, please ensure that:

1. The domain name is added to your Efty Investor account and appears in your portfolio.
2. The domain is using Efty’s nameservers: ns1.eftydns.com /ns2.eftydns.com
3. You’ve allowed up to 48 hours after changing the nameservers for propagation and SSL activation.
4. You’re not using any external redirects or DNS settings, as these can interfere with SSL issuance.
