Host your Domain Shop on a Subdomain

Every Efty Investor account includes a Domain Shop, your own branded marketplace where buyers can easily browse and purchase your domains. You don’t need to worry about hosting, updates, or security; Efty takes care of it all for you.

If you prefer, you can host your Domain Shop on a subdomain (for example, marketplace.yourdomain.com).

How to set up your Domain Shop on a subdomain

  1. Go to Settings → Domain Shop in your Efty Investor account.
  2. Click Set Domain Shop URL.
  3. Enter the subdomain you want to use, without “www” (for example, marketplace.yourdomain.com), then click Save.
  4. Log in to your domain registrar and make sure the Nameservers for your domain are set to the registrar’s default Nameservers.

  5. Create the subdomain in your DNS settings and point the A record to the following IP address:

    85.10.133.119

  6. Refer to your registrar’s help section for detailed instructions on setting up an A record.
  7. Wait for DNS propagation — this can take anywhere from 5 minutes to 24 hours.
  8. Once the subdomain resolves, visit it in your browser to confirm that your Domain Shop is live.
