How to connect Google Analytics to Efty Investor

Efty Investor makes it simple to connect your Google Analytics account, so you can track visitors and performance across your Domain Shop, for-sale landing pages, and custom domains.

Why connect Google Analytics

Connecting Google Analytics helps you understand how people discover and interact with domains in your portfolio.

You’ll gain insights into:

  • Where your traffic comes from
  • Which domains attract the most interest
  • Visitor behavior across your pages
  • How your marketing efforts translate into inquiries

Where to find your Google Analytics ID

If you already have a Google Analytics account, your Measurement ID is easy to find:

  1. Log in to Google Analytics.
  2. Click the Admin ⚙️ icon in the bottom-left corner.
  3. Under the Property column, select your website property.
  4. Click Data Streams, then select your web data stream.
  5. You’ll see your Measurement ID at the top right — it starts with G- (for example, G-AB123CD456 ).

That’s the code you’ll copy and paste into your Efty Investor settings.

Don’t have a Google Analytics account yet

No problem — setting one up is quick and free.

To create a Google Analytics account:

  1. Go to Google Analytics and sign in with your Google account.
  2. Click Start measuring.
  3. Enter an Account name (for example: Efty Domains).
  4. Create a Property — give it a name like Efty Domain Shop or Efty Landing Page and choose your time zone and currency.
  5. Select Web as your data stream type.

For the Website URL, enter your custom domain for your Domain Shop or, if you wish to track your For-Sale landing pages, any domain name from your portfolio that’s parked on Efty’s nameservers (ns1.eftydns.com  and ns2.eftydns.com ).

    • This domain will serve as the base for tracking your Domain Shop or all your for-sale landing pages.
  6. Click Create Stream, then copy your Measurement ID (it begins with G- ).

You’ll use this ID to connect your Efty Investor account.

Connect Google Analytics to your Domain Shop

Your Domain Shop is your own branded marketplace, a custom website that lists all your available domains.

To connect Google Analytics:

  1. Go to your Domain Shop Settings.
  2. Locate the Google Analytics ID field.
  3. Paste your Google Analytics Measurement ID (for example: G-XXXXXXX ).
  4. Click Save.

Efty will automatically begin sending traffic data from your Domain Shop to your Google Analytics account.

Connect Google Analytics to your For-Sale landing pages

Your for-sale landing pages are the individual domain pages that appear when your domains are pointed to Efty’s nameservers:

ns1.eftydns.com  and ns2.eftydns.com .

To connect Google Analytics:

  1. Go to For-Sale Landing Pages Settings.
  2. Enter your Google Analytics ID in the field provided.
  3. Click Save.

Important: To track visitor data correctly, your Google Analytics property must be set up for a domain name that’s pointed to Efty’s nameservers.

It doesn’t matter which one; any domain from your portfolio will work as the property domain for your entire Efty account.

Once connected, Efty will automatically send traffic data from all your parked landing pages to your Google Analytics property.

Connect Google Analytics to your custom domain

If you’ve set up a custom domain for your For-Sale landing pages, you can connect Google Analytics there as well.

To connect:

  1. Open your Custom Domain Settings.
  2. Paste your Google Analytics ID.
  3. Click Save.

All landing pages hosted on your custom domain will now report traffic data to your Google Analytics account.

That’s it

Once your Google Analytics ID is saved, Efty will automatically begin sending traffic data, and you will see it appear within Google Analytics within a few hours to a day.

You’ll be able to view real-time visitors, top-performing domains, visiting countries, traffic sources, and much more directly in your Google Analytics dashboard.
